McDelivery Nightmare

My raving about the McDelivery by McDonald's turned out to be a disaster! I tried them today and they proved to be a nightmare of booboos. I ordered their chicken nuggets with spaghetti and i instead got a chicken wings and spaghetti. Such an inefficient staff. When they called me to verify what i ordered online, they even specifically asked what sauce should come with the nuggets, i said a barbeque sauce. Turned out that that will be the only one that i will get, a barbecue sauce, LOL. No 5 piece chicken nuggets. Oh No. At this time i was hungry and pissed off at the same time. Another booboo is that i ordered an Apple Pie as what is pictured in their website and lo and behold, when it was delivered to me, i got a pineapple pie! holy shit. apples and pineapples are two different shit. To think that there is a 20-peso delivery fee.

I swear never to order online from them again. McDo hate ko to.

McDo Delivery Online is Back

yEAY! McDonald's McDo Delivery Online is Back! I used to order and rely on them heavily during my busy busy days last year. I would just choose what to order and they will confirm your order by calling you back even if you choose to have your cellphone number as the number to be called back to. All these changed for the worse when one day last year, can't remember when exactly, when you visit their usual URL of http://www.8mcdo.com, all you will see is a darn blank green page. Sad days ensued since we didn't have a landline at that time. Calling thru using my cellphone meant ordering sparingly, as the third world have exorbitant calling rates.

But lo and behold, today, i was informed by a friend that indeed, MCDo's online delivery service is back albeit on another URL. This time it's now sporting a com.ph domain, http://www.mcdelivery.com.ph/. It is now also called McDelivery. Before, its moniker is 8McDo Delivery.

I know this is not your usual snobbish fare, but McDo, especially its online ordering/delivery feature is convenient and economical.

How To Make Passport Photos Yourself

Tired of passport photos not done right? The Department Of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is very strict of this requirement, it mandates that:

Three (3) colored photos of the applicant taken against a royal blue background. Applicant should be in decent attire with collar. Photo must be of good quality, and must have been taken within the last six (6) months. Photo size: 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm. Facial image size: Not less than 3 cm. DFA has the right to reject photos that do not comply with specifications and international standards.

See. Very strict and to the point. So i have decided to just take matters into my own hands and made my passport photos myself!

Here's how i have done it:

1. I made someone (force 'em if you will, lol) take a photo of me against a ROYAL BLUE background in decent attire with collar and an appropriate facial expression (Bleh!). Don't worry about the size, it will be taken cared of for you later.

2. Go to this website,
www.epassportphoto.com
The instructions are a cinch really. Self-explanatory..select your country, upload your photo, and use THE wizard to THE CORRECT size for your country.

3. Download the photo to your computer and print on a piece of 4x6 photo paper. You don't really have to sign up for a Snapfish account to download the photo.

4. There is no step. no. 4! You're done!
