Cignal Satellite TV is a fledgling direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV service from a subsidiary of PLDT. They are directly competing with the pioneering Dream Satellite and another new entrant GSat. Cignal's new HD channels are HBO HD, Star Movies HD, Sony Entertainment HD, FX HD, ESPN HD 1080i and Star Sports HD 1080i. An addition to their previous boring HD channel lineup, Disney Playhouse HD, Voom HD, History Channel HD and the Pay Per View Channel HD. In their standard definition (SD) channel lineup, Cinemax and Monster Radio RX 93.1 FM are the latest addition. I'm truly impressed with their HD lineup, and it comes free with your existing HD monthly fee. For those planning to subscribe to Cignal HD though, they only offer a postpaid monthly subscription and is mostly available only in Smart Wireless Centers. Their subdealers are not knowledgeable of Cignal HD or they don't offer Cignal HD at all.
