I have just been to the province of Sorsogon and unfortunately i wasn't able to catch the famous Donsol Butanding (whale shark) as the weather did not permit it. It was mostly raining and the seas was rough. Plus, it was not really the season for such an activity.
I wanted to see the Bulusan Volcano but it was also hidden by thick fog. I still managed to island hop and see their only city, Sorsogon City. On the tech side, there is free wifi in Chowking Sorsogon. Their free wifi is acceptable but not that fast, but hey, who doesn't like free stuff! BTW, Sorsogon City also has a good 3G Coverage within city limits, that is, for Smart 3g, since i am on Smart and didn't have time to check out Globe or Sun. They also have a mall. It's called Centro Mall just infront of Chowking. Pretty acceptable for a new city. All in all, Sorsogon was a very pleasant surprise. Nice place to visit. The nice people and clean air was worth it.
